Rapper Iggy Azalea was furious when she saw the video where her fiancé Nick Young appeared to admit cheating after he was filmed by his teammate D’Angelo Russell, but she’s now opened up on why they’re still together.
The Fancy hitmaker appeared on Orlando & The Freakshow radio show, where she revealed why she let the video “slide” this time, although she has threatened to chop off his penis.
“I have an actual spoken commitment that you’re going to get married to me … and that involves not doing any of those other things,” she told the presenters.
Iggy, who recently revealed that she had postponed her wedding to the basketball star, insisted she was “not cool” over the video scandal and said that she was ready to get violent if she catches him doing the dirty.
“Like you’ll have half a penis,” she claims to have warned her husband-to-be after the video hit the internet.
“I already said one more video, just one more thing and you will lose a quarter of your meat.”
Iggy admitted that she didn’t know whether the video was showing the truth, which is why she chose to forgive Young.
Shortly after the video emerged last month, Iggy Azalea thanked D’Angelo Russell for secretly making a tape in which her fiance Nick Young boasts about meeting another girl.
The 25-year-old star – who got engaged to the basketball player last June, suggested she has learned from her partner’s Los Angeles Lakers teammate’s film.
She tweeted: “hmmm i see D Angelo Russell is trending… I actually liked his film. Thanks bro.(sic)”
Iggy and Nick are currently said to be “not on good terms” and their engagement is in “jeopardy”, but sources told TMZ the sportsman is “crushed” by the leaked footage – in which he doesn’t appear to be aware he was being filmed – and is determined to do what he can to repair their relationship.
The website reports the video was recorded months ago, and everyone involved believes it was obtained and leaked by a third party, rather than D’Angelo.
However, there is said to be major tension between the two sportsmen, and their other teammates are also furious about the breach of trust.
