The Nigeria Cricket Federation will like to inform the general public that a final fourteen man list have been drafted for the ICC World Cricket League Division 5, Jersey Island UK in May 2016.
After 3 Phases of Camping, with over 40 players tested around the country, the selection process for this tournament have been lauded and considered the most transparent and organised. The basis for this selection have been strictly on Merit and Current form which have seen new faces in the team for the first time.
The newest prodigy and revelation in Nigeria Cricket is Mr Chima Akachukwu surprised selectors right from the first Phase of the camp and he also becomes the youngest Cricketer to ever wear the senior National team colors at Age 15 years 312 days.
Spectacle of the 3rd phase camp was an impressive knock of 154 runs by Mr Oyede Adeleke raising the standards even higher providing more competition for the entire team.
The only Sour End to this wonderful camp phase is the Injury sustained by Isaac Okpe who is subject to an MRI scan to determine the severity of the injury
