After securing CAF Champions League group phase ticket in Tunisia on Wednesday at the expense of Etoile du Sahel, Nigeria Premier League champion, Enyimba are stranded in Tunisia due to flight delay by Maroc Air.
Speaking on phone yesterday, club chairman Felix Anyansi Agwu said the airline rescheduled their flight from yesterday to Saturday.
“We cannot come back as we planned because our flight have been rescheduled to Saturday” He expressed joy over his side’s qualification and predicted good things ahead in the championship for Enyimba.
“We are happy to have made it to the group stage and I think everything is now a possibility for us in this championship”, he said.
