The Governorship candidate of African Action Congress AAC in the March 9th Governorship election, Biokpomabo Awara said he defeated the Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike during the March 9th Governorship election.
Biokpomabo Awara stated this while closing his case at the Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Port Harcourt.
Biokpomabo Awara had presented 20 witnesses including himself during the tribunal proceedings.
Biokpomabo Awara during his cross-examination at the tribunal presented election results of 11 local government areas in Rivers State.
He claimed that the results were the true certified copies for the governorship election in Rivers State.
Awara during the tribunal proceedings stated that he defeated Governor Nyesom Wike at the March 9th, governorship election.
In the meantime, Emenike Ebete, lawyer to Biokpomabo Awara at the tribunal said they have proved their case to the best of their ability at the tribunal.
The lawyer to the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Woyike Livingstone said the commission will abide by any decision of the court.
