Rivers Community pledges support for Wike

The people of Odioku Community in Ahoada West Local Government Area said they would continue to support the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike following his developmental strides in the area.

The Paramount Ruler of Odioku Community Chief Monday Ukawu said the internal road projects, water and health center projects embarked by the Governor in their community is one of its kind.

Chief Monday Ukawu also commended Governor Nyesom Wike for providing the community with 100 bags of rice and five life cows as Christmas gifts.

The Paramount Ruler also said Governor Nyesom Wike is a good in-law that takes the welfare of Odioku people at heart.

”My message to him is to say thank you to him and let God bless him. His pocket will never run dry until his lifetime. Let God promote him more and more in the name of Jesus Christ”.

”On behalf of Odioku Community, We were very happy for the gift he brought to the community. I told him when he came to flag-off the internal roads in our community, that he is more or less our son since he married our daughter” he said.

A Youth Leader in Odioku Community, Sunny Nwabueze while commending the Governor said the developmental projects have created employment opportunities for the youths in the area.

He said the youths are now empowered to be self-reliant.

Sunny Nwabueze said the youths are behind the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike and will support all his policies.

Also a woman leader in the community, Nnenna Stephen said the Women Group in the area will continue to pray for the success of Governor Nyesom Wike while in office.

She said the women group has been praying for the success of the Governor and the first lady who is from Odioku community since 2015.

Nnenna Stephen said the gifts providing by Governor Wike to celebrate Christmas will help many indigent families to have food on their table this yuletide season.
