The Youths of Iriebe Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area has called on the residents of the area to comply with the State Government’s sit at home directives to curtail the spread of coronavirus in the state.
The Youth Leader of Iriebe Community Worenwu Nyebuchi in a statement commended the efforts of the Paramount Ruler of Iriebe, Eze MONDAY WORENWU in enforcing all government efforts to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Youth Leader WORENWU NYEBUCHI lauded the efforts of the paramount ruler of Iriebe by involving health workers to educate residents of the community on ways of preventing the deadly virus.
The Youth Leader also asked residents of area to maintain proper hygiene by washing their hands regularly and maintaining social distance.
The statement also asked members of the public to disregard claims by one JEREMIAH ANIETIE who parades himself as the paramount ruler of Iriebe.
WORENWU NYEBUCHI said JEREMIAH ANIETIE is not from Iriebe and cannot hold any traditional position in the community.
