Children and Parents will have so much fun in Port Harcourt when the third edition of the Paint, Sip, and Play event holds on December 11.

The Paint, Sip, and Play programme is an art event aimed at boosting the creativity and skills of children between ages 5-19 years.

The organizer of the event Naija Kids Art said they are concerned with the zero attention given to art by parents across the country.

According to the Executive Director of the Naija Kids Art, Doris Paul said arts raises the confidence and self-esteem of children.

She said that the programme will be fun for the kids and other participants.

Doris Paul noted that the event will also be a platform for networking for the parents and the kids.

”When kids engage in Art activities, their creativity, focus skills, attention to detail, and fine motor skills are being developed, which will help them excel in their different careers in life”

”The Paint, Sip, and Play is an outdoor event organized for children to come together and have fun in a very creative way. We know children love to play so why don’t we teach them in the language they understand better. So they won’t just come to learn in the formal classroom setting during the Paint, Sip, and Play, No. They won’t. They will learn how to explore their creativity at this event while engaging in activities they love. They will get to interact with other children which will improve their social skills” she said.

The PAINT, SIP & PLAY will take place at the vineyard shopping and entertainment center beside KFC at 88 Woji Road, GRA Phase 2, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
