Former Nigerian champions, Rivers Hoopers have arrived in Lagos to compete in the second edition of the Louis Edem Invitational Basketball Championship.
The tournament is scheduled to hold from Sunday, 27 August to 2 September at the indoor sports hall of the National Stadium, Lagos.
In the first edition played six months ago, the four-time champions of the Nigeria basketball league succumbed to a 57-67 defeat at the hands of the reigning Nigeria league champions, Kwara Falcons.
Rivers Hoopers have been drawn with Comets, Ogun Warlord, Spintex Knights of Ghana, and Energie Cotonou of Benin Republic in Group B of the 10-team tournament.
The Kingsmen will play their opening game against Energie Cotonou on Sunday, 27 August at 3:30pm.
