The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State says the return of Senator Magnus Abe to the party is a huge plus to the party.
The Former Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party SDP in Rivers State Senator MAGNUS ABE had recently returned to the APC after making peace with the FCT Minister NYESOM WIKE.
Magnus Abe said that his decision for true reconciliation would enable the APC in Rivers State to benefit from the process of peaceful reunification, and reintegration.
However, the Chairman Caretaker Committee of APC in the state TONY OKOCHA in a statement personally signed by him said that Senator Magnus is a great asset to the party as a co-founder who has decided to unite and reconcile with other members to move the party forward.
Tony Okocha, who is also the Rivers State Representative on the Board of the NDDC, while frowning at comments by some critics over the return of Senator Magnus Abe to the party noted that the former SDP Governorship Candidate has made his mark in the political space of the Rivers state and the country at large.
He noted that Senator Magnus Abe has been very conspicuous in the history book of Rivers State and had occupied positions of trust including serving as a lawmaker in the state, minority leader of the state House of Assembly, commissioner for information, and secretary to the Rivers State Government.
