Yunusa Dahiru, the alleged abductor of 14-year-old Ese Oruru, has confirmed that he impregnated the girl during her 7 month ordeal in Kano.
According to a Naij report, Yunusa made the confession during his appearance at the Federal High Court in Bayelsa on Tuesday.
Yunusa, commonly known as Yellow, is faced with a five-count charge, including abduction, illicit sex and unlawful carnal knowledge, among others.
When asked about the pregnancy, Yunusa said that he was responsible, revealing that he had heard from police that Ese was five months along.
Ese, who was abducted in August of last year, is reported to have been transported to Kano where she was converted to Islam and forcefully married. She has since been rescued and reunited with her family in Bayelsa State.
