Buhari arrived in capital Malabo on Monday evening.
He was received by his counterpart, the Equatorial Guinea President Obiang Nguema at the Malabo International Airport.
The two presidents are set to discuss measures to protect the people and resources of the Niger Delta and Gulf of Guinea, the report said.
