The National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN says it will synergize with multinationals and organizations to create jobs for the teeming youths in the state.
The Chairman of Coordinator Forum of National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN in Rivers State Kingsley Dimkpa said this during the thanksgiving of NYCN Port Harcourt Local Government Area Chapter and the Decoration of Comrade Apollos Owen in Port Harcourt.
Kingsley Dimkpa said job creation is one of the cardinal vision of the National President of NYCN Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo in Nigeria.
He stated the NYCN will work to curb unemployment among youths in Rivers State and across the country.
”Youth council we are interested in human capacity building and that is why all our activities are gearing towards empowering people and making people happy”.
”That is why I am very happy about Ambassador Sukubo Sara-Igbe because he is just interested in empowering people making sure that youths are outstanding and we are impacting the society”.
”That’s why today we have decided to come and thank God on behalf of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area. People should also learn from what we are doing and not just to be jumping from one office to the other”. he said.
The Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria PHALGA chapter Peter Chinda said they are working to create a platform for skilled and unskilled youths to be meaning engaged in 2020.
Peter Chinda said the vision to ensure that many youths are employed in the State.
He noted that youth empowerment will reduce unemployment and restiveness in the region.
Peter Chinda, however, commended Comrade Apollos Owen for his leadership qualities as a leader of NYCN in PHALGA.
He described Apollos Owen as a mentor and a father.
The Coordinator of NYCN in Port Harcourt also said that the National leadership of NYCN has impacted positively to the lives of youths in the country.
He thanked Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo for leading the war against unemployment in the South-South region.
