CAFCC: Nigerien officials to officiate Rivers United, Al Masry tie

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the appointment of Mohamed Ali Moussa from Niger as the center referee for the TotalEnergies CAF Confederations cup additional playoff round tie between Rivers United and Egyptian club Al Masry on Sunday at the Enyimba International Stadium.

The FIFA badge referee is widely regarded as one of the most disciplined referees on the continent and was involved in handling FIFA World Cup qualification (Africa) matches, the most recent on 14th November 2021 involving Zimbabwe and Ethiopia.

For Sunday’s game, Moussa will be assisted by compatriots Abdoul Aziz Yacouba and Mahamadou Yahaya Gado as Assistant Referee one and two respectively, while Moussa Ahmadou Alou also from Niger will serve as the fourth official.

CAF has also confirmed Sekou Wieh Konneh from Liberia as the Match Commissioner while Pare Lossene from Burkina Faso as the Referee Assessor

Rivers United and Al Masry will clash for the 1st time at club level on Sunday in TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup additional playoff round 1st leg encounter that promises lots of fireworks.

The Kick-off is scheduled for 4pm.

Rivers United Reveals Ticket Price For Al Masry Clash

The cost of tickets for the much anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup additional playoff round tie between Rivers United and Egyptian club Al Masry this Sunday, November 28 in Aba has been announced.

Fans are expected to pay the sum of N1,000 for VIP seats and #500 for all covered seats.

Tickets for the match will be available for purchase at the Enyimba International Stadium Aba on Saturday, November 27, and Sunday (matchday) November 28.

The crucial tie is to be played at the 25,000-capacity Enyimba International Stadium, Aba on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
