Rivers State Government to flag off the Trans-Kalabari road project in May 2024

The Secretary to the State Government Dr Tammy Danagaogo said this at the Supreme Court victory Thanksgiving of Governor Siminialayi Fubara in Degema local government area.

Dr. Tammy Danagogo said that preparations have been finalized for the flag-off of the project.

The Secretary to the State Government Dr Tammy Danagogo emphasized that the road when completed will boost economic activities in the Kalabari Kingdom.

Dr. Tammy Danagogo also criticized the Martin Amaewhule-led assembly for their threat to impeach Governor Siminialayi Fubara.

He urged the lawmakers to declare to the public the offenses committed by the Governor that warranted their actions.

Meanwhile, the Director General of the Simplified Movement Evans Bipi says no amount of plot by opposition political leaders will stop the Supreme Court victory Thanksgiving of Governor Siminialayi Fubara from taking place across the state.

Evans Bipi while speaking at the Supreme Court victory Thanksgiving of Governor Siminialayi Fubara in Ogu/Bolo accused the Executive Director of Finance and Administration of NDDC Boma Iyaye, Senator George Sekibo and the Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Vincent Nemieboka of deploying public funds to stop the in Ogu/Bolo.

He noted that the antics of those opposing the Governor will not succeed in the state.

Evans Bipi also said that the massive turnout of the people of Ogu/Bolo at the event further shows that Governor Fubara enjoys the organic support of Rivers people which transcends politics.

On his part, former Minister of Transport and PDP Chieftain in Rivers State Dr Abiye Sekibo advised Local Government Chairmen in the State to pledge their loyalty to Governor Fubara before it is too late for them to do so.

Similarly, the Ijaw Youth Congress IYC Eastern Zone, says the Ijaw Nation will no longer accept any intimidation on the Rivers State Governor Siminialayi Fubara.

The IYC Chairman Eastern Zone, TAMUNO KPOKPO while speaking at Simplified movement thanksgiving in Ogu/Gbolo Local Government Area warned the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC in Rivers State TONY OKOCHA against making unguarded statements against the Governor.

In his comment, the Commissioner of Youths Development in Rivers State, Dr. CHISOM GBALI said the youths of Rivers State will give their full support to the Governor to succeed.
