Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has ordered a probe into the alleged abduction of a 14-year-old girl, Patience Paul, who was allegedly abducted and kept in the palace of the Sultan of Sokoto.

The father of the girl, Mr. Adaji Paul, an indigene of Ochobo in the Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State, had said that his daughter had been missing since August 12, 2015. Adaji, who resides in Sokoto with his family, alleged that some persons spotted his daughter at the Sultan’s palace.

However, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Imam Imam, said in a statement that measures had been taken since the story of the alleged abduction took place.
